Cyber Security Incident Manager Malaysia Remote 12 month contract opportunity Global telecoms Due to a new contract win, one of Hortor\'s Tier 1 clients is recruiting for a Cyber Security Incident Manager to support a global telecommunications organisation on a remote basis. Responsibilities: Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization\'s data, systems, and networks. Troubleshoot security and network problems. Respond promptly to all system and/or network security breaches. Understand and apply intrusion detection methodologies and techniques for detecting host and network-based intrusions. Collect intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential cyber defense incidents within the enterprise. Coordinate and provide expert technical support to enterprise-wide cyber defense technicians to resolve cyber defense incidents. Preserve evidence integrity according to standard operating procedures or national standards. Understand incident categories, incident responses, and timelines for responses. Requirements: Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Incident Engineer. Deep understanding of intrusion detection methodologies and techniques. Ability to troubleshoot security and network problems. Experience in preserving evidence integrity. Knowledge of incident categories, incident responses, and timelines for responses. Desirable Skills: Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
