Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Administrator at Liege Solution\'s client in Kuala Lumpur. Our client is UK based established construction software business with ambitious growth plans and an experienced management team. They develop and support a unique project cost management software for specialist subcontractors in construction. Our client helps their customers improve their project financial processes - estimating, procurement, variations, valuations, applications, and real-time cost reporting etc - all within one single integrated cloud platform. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology business and really make an impact. As a Data Administrator at our client\'s, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and organised data management associated with the construction industry. This role involves meticulous manual data manipulation and maintenance of construction material data with an overall aim of providing our clients with additional support and speeding up their software onboarding process. Title : Data Administrator Salary/package: Competitive Package with 18 days annual leave. Reporting to: Business Service Specialist in the UK Training: Full product training will be provided as necessary Strategic aim: This role will require you to focus on implementing efficient data entry processes and systems that optimise the handling and organisation of construction material data in databases for our clients. This involves establishing standardized procedures to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility. Location: Q Sentral, Jalan Stesen Sentral 2, KL Sentral 50470 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Working hours: Due to the time difference with the UK the hours are 11am - 7pm Malaysian Time Market sector: Contractors & specialist subcontractors across all sectors of the construction industry: commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare, education, retail etc. Key responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data entry and management: Accurately input and update construction material data and pricing into Excel spreadsheets. Organise and maintain construction material databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Data Manipulation: Perform manual data manipulation tasks, including sorting, categorising, and formatting data. Verify and cross-check data entries for completeness and correctness. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in the datasets. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent data standards and adherence to data entry protocols. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of data entry processes, standards, and best practices. Create and update procedural manuals for data entry tasks to facilitate training for new team members. Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including services, training and development, to support data-related tasks and projects. REQUIREMENTS Experience : Proven experience in manual data entry and manipulation, with ideally 2+years\' experience within a similar role. Familiarity with construction industry terminology and materials is an advantage. Attitude: Professional, \'can-do\' attitude, with a flexible approach to working. Technical skills: Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and manipulation tasks. Accuracy: Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and verification is vital. Communication: Must be a clear and confident communicator with a high command of written and spoken English. Independence: Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
