Main accountabilities

Understand business requirements summarized as user stories and ensure that reports developed meet the defined acceptance criteria. Be fully responsible for all steps required to develop new reports: clean/prepare data in our Data WHS, develop efficient and scalable semantic models, build effective visualizations and deploy/maintain semantic models/reports. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing data sources and business implications to ensure accurate and relevant visualizations. Collaborate with Data Engineer to ensure data integrity and availability. Monitor existing reports and ensure that refreshes are completing as expected. Investigate and resolve issues when required. Produce consistent technical documentation to ensure transparency of data lineage and transformations applied. Manage own workload and provide progress updates (written and verbal) on team sessions.

Experience & Attributes

Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as Data Analyst or relevant role. Minimum

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand data and create accurate calculations. Self-motivation and strong desire to further develop data skills. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable and effective in communicating with individuals and teams including other stakeholders as needed. Ability to adapt to a fast paced / dynamic environment with changing business priorities.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
