Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems. Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems - reorganizing data in a readable format. Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data. Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems. Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction. Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time. Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry. Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies. Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends. Data Administrator: Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user\'s specialised role. Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views. Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner. Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data. Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses. Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users. Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards. Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity. Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required. Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security. Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users. Map out the conceptual design for a planned database. Consider both back-end organisation of data and front-end accessibility for end-users. Refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model. Further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements. Install and test new versions of the database management system (DBMS). Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act. Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata). Work closely with IT project managers, database programmers and multimedia programmers. Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security. Monitoring database performance to ensure optimal operation, including monitoring memory usage, disk space, and network bandwidth utilization. Reviewing data integrity to ensure that entries are accurate and consistent with business rules. Performing routine database maintenance such as backing up data files, reorganizing data to improve performance, and repairing errors in existing data sets. Maintaining the integrity of data by identifying or preventing problems such as data entry errors or bugs in software programs. Reporting on database activities to management by identifying potential issues with performance or security that may require further investigation. Performing administrative tasks such as backing up data, creating new databases, or reorganizing existing data sets as directed by management. Monitoring system performance and identifying problems that arise. Responding in a timely manner to user-reported errors. Requirements & Qualifications: Diploma or Degree Computer Science, Information Management or any related field. Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst. One to two years of experience as a data analyst / as a data administrator. Fresh grads are also welcomed to apply. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization. Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations. ChatGPT is a bonus or any AI tool is a bonus. Must have expeience working with computers. Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations. Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases. Understanding of addressing and metadata standards. High-level written and verbal communication skills. Proven working experience as a Database Administrator. Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools. Familiarity with programming languages API. Familiarity with database queries. Familiarity with database management best practices. Knowledge of IT security best practices. Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
