We are currently looking for a Data Analyst, Finance Operations to join our team. This position will be located at Kuala Lumpur Sentral (Menara 1 Sentral) and it is easy to get to by public transportation as it is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Main Responsibilities

Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of the results of the WSM\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.

Maintain and develop various financial models using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) to ensure quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.

Support in finance process improvement, internal controls and risk management i.e. to share best practices and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance team.

Support business in pursuit financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing

financial knowledge.

Provide deep finance subject matter expertise and knowledge to the project team, for specific finance area/process, identify risks, and to enable the successful assessment or implementation of ERP solution.

Perform ad-hoc queries and supports from various counterparts when needed.

Assisting the WSM Vice President Finance in other designated or non-routine tasks.

Accountabilities

Financial analysis of WSM as delegated, including the processes and procedures involved for the improvement as delegated.\xe2\x80\x8b

Qualifications\xc2\xb7

Possessed a Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Applied Math , Statistics or equivalent

Minimum 5 -7 years working experience in a related field.

Exposure in Data Tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Preferable someone with Shared Service background. Candidate from Maritime industry will be an advantage.

Good command of English is a must.
