Job Description

We are seeking a

Data Analyst

to strengthen our Business Intelligence team, driving data-based decisions across global operations. This role focuses on building models, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering insights that support strategic initiatives within the Fintech and Trading environment

You will:

Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. Build, maintain, and automate BI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker) for management reporting. Collaborate with business units to define KPIs and develop analytical solutions. Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for efficiency and scalability. Present data-driven insights to senior management and business leaders in clear and actionable formats. Support data governance and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems. Work closely with the IT and Data Engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a data science or business intelligence role. Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R, and SQL. Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques. Strong business acumen with experience translating data into strategic recommendations

Nice to have:

Experience in Fintech or Financial Services industries. Familiarity with time-series forecasting, predictive modeling, or NLP. Experience working with cloud data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).

Pay: From RM4,800.00 per month
