Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Data Analyst is responsible to provide intelligence and analytical support to the Marketing and E-Commerce teams, enabling actionable insights that help to drive the teams' objectives relating to growth of customer visits, loyalty, registration, retention and contribute to overall consumer satisfaction.
Understand data usage/consumption to drive growth and customer insights, working to constantly improve the way data is prepared and consumed to deliver benefits to the business
Work closely with CRM, digital marketing & e-commerce team to convert data into useful insights
Perform analysis on customer purchases, customer behaviours, customer segmentation, tagging/profiling for effective marketing / targeting
Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics using Power BI
Deliver accurate and value-adding data analysis
Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations and communicate these findings effectively to stakeholders
Role Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Statistics or equivalent
A minimum of 1-2 year experience in ETL and Power BI tools
Knowledge of digital marketing and/or e-commerce, and familiar with consumer analytics concepts e.g. conversion, segmentation, retention, funnel analysis, etc
Knowledge in AWS/AWS Redshift, using/building API, web scraping tool, and/or analytic tools such as Google Analytics
Required Technical Skills : Power BI, SQL ETL. Python, etc
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Able to work independently as well as a team player
Able to work in an office located at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
