Job Description

As a Data Analyst Specialist, you will be responsible to work with business analysts to review/analyze business requirements, assist PMs with task/workload/timeline assessment, work with Data Analysts for required data warehouse modifications and Power BI model/report development, prepare technical specifications - cooperating with EMEA Team.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Understand the business needs and how to address those needs with effective IT solutions.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business applications
• Maintain awareness of current and planned projects within their IT group to promote analytics, data and solution sharing
• Collaborate with staff members, IT colleagues, and others to define functional and technical requirements.
• Assess available technologies, then develop and present viable solution options
• Maintain general knowledge of relevant data ingestion, integration and visualization processes and possibly participate in planning processes

Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science/related field, or equivalent work experience and technical training

Consistent record of 2-3 years of experience in data-related roles

Deep technical knowledge and experience in:

• SQL: complex queries and data management
• Database: data modelling, querying performance optimization; data mapping, data interrogation, data quality. Experience in Cosmos DB is a plus.
• Microsoft BI Stack including Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake)
• Data warehouse development with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
• Statistical computer language: R, Python is preferred
• Good English communications skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing

Good analytical skills and strong systems and process orientation

Able to work remote efficiently with minimal direction.

Attitude of continuous improvement and desire to learn new technologies
