THE DATA ENGINEER We are looking for highly motivated and savvy Data Engineers to grow capabilities and expand our Consulting practice in Malaysia and APAC. Candidates who aspire to be data professionals and have attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field should apply to join our growing team of analytics experts. Data engineers build data pipelines that transform raw, unstructured data into formats that our data analysts and data scientists can use for further visualisation and analysis to derive business insights. They are responsible for creating and maintaining the analytics infrastructure that enables every other data function. This involves extracting data from various data source systems, transforming it into staging areas, and loading it into data warehouse system - ETL (Extract, Transform, Load). DATA & ANALYTICS CONSULTANTS \xe2\x80\x93 THE TEAM Data & Analytics Consultants at BIIT takes responsibility for the end-to-end data solution design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced AI and Analytics solutions. This includes the configuration and administration of cloud infrastructure, data management frameworks, ETL jobs, advanced analytical models, scripting agents, and business intelligence / visualization front ends. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs 2. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements that meet business requirements and re-design infrastructure for greater scalability 3. Build, re-design, and optimize data delivery infrastructure required for optimal ETL, pipelines, and orchestration from wide variety of data sources 4. Build analytics tools using a modern data technology stack and cloud-native technologies to provide actionable insights into a variety of key business performance metrics SKIILS 1. Database systems like SQL and NoSQL 2. ETL tools, Data warehousing solutions, and Data APIs 3. Python, Java, and Scala programming languages 4. Familiarity with AI and ML concepts and technologies 5. Understanding of distributed systems 6. Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
