Join our Malaysia Data Team for a hands-on internship where you'll gain real exposure to data-driven decision making. From day one, you'll get exposure to real analytics initiatives and gradually take ownership of a project to be completed by the end of your internship.
You'll start by supporting the team in their day-to-day tasks, then move towards working more independently, with guidance and mentorship along the way. During your time with us, you'll get the chance to explore topics such as Service Operations, Process Automation, Fraud Analytics, Cost Management, and delivering insights that support Market Heads.
Beyond building technical skills, this internship is also designed to open doors to potential full-time opportunities within the team.
Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior analysts and mentors while contributing to ongoing analytics initiatives.
• Document processes and learn best practices in building a data-driven organization.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and anomalies using Google Big Query, SQL, Python and other analytical tools.
• Support dashboard development and automation using tools in Tableau or Looker.
• Work closely with other Analysts, to support OPEX and Service Ops teams by translating business problems into analytical questions and actionable insights.
• Present actionable insights to stakeholders on service performance, SLAs, and other KPIs.

Qualifications
A. Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable for Compliance)

• Citizenship: Candidates must be Malaysian Citizens (a strict mandate for MySIP/DTD compliance).
• Work Eligibility: Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Program Commitment: Able to participate in the program for a minimum of 4 months (16 weeks) and able to start in Feb 2026.
• Communication: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

B. Core Capabilities

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or any related quantitative field.
• Familiar with SQL or Python, with a passion for learning more.
• Comfortable working with data and curious about solving problems through analytics.
• Strong communicator, eager to collaborate with teammates and present findings clearly.
• Proactive, adaptable, and excited to take on challenges in a fast-moving environment.
