Opella Business Analysis & Controlling team has the strategic role of driving financial performance and trajectory of manufacturing sites and global network primarily based on daily data and automations. Our performance drives Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) down, protecting CHC competitiveness against peers.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data lead to join our Controlling team

. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both good experience in Finance (ideally in Manufacturing&Supply controlling and/or FP&A), as well as strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for


1 - Cleaning, simplifying and factoring of data and overall data model:


Develop, maintain, and manage the CORE data set recently developpend within Finance M&S, including advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create data models. Design and build dashboards using tools such as Power BI, or similar. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
2 - Turning data into actionable controlling insights:


Eliminate manual work across all controlling functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights. Train and support all controllers to dashboard wizzards. Continuously improve existing reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation. Proactive implementation of Gen AI into processes
Togtether with colleagues who participated in building it, the technical main objective is to leverage on the data CORE data set recently developed within Finance Manufacturing&Supply, including:


Keep simplifying model and completing the CORE documentation. Ensure model connection continuity of sources (for instance Datalake) Create dedicated data monitoring dashboards on data quality Ensure update and archiving process (automation and auto-test) Proof, enrich and maintain the filters so that the views from the CORE always match both to the production ground view (ERP GUI) and to the finance view (TM1) Enrich the CORE layer 0 model with targeted fields from tables already pulled ONLY on client requests. Mainly the PIM and CRM bases will need to be completed to serve clients.
This is a Global role, supporting whole Finance M&S organization. Besides, it will be instrumental in establishing the foundation for our GCC network, notably supporting enhanced standardization & automation of our data processing.


To ease the translation of business requirements into technical specifications and create data models, it will be required to gain a good understanding of Finance M&S environment.

About you

Experience

:


Experience in controlling functions Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation. Minimum experience of data governance and data quality management. Experience in Finance Manufacturing & Supply is a nice plus.

Soft skills

:


Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Technical skills

:


Simplifying and factoring mindset Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar. Knowledge of system interfacing, APIs, flat-file exchange, interface automations and similar Experience with financial tools such as TM1 and SAP is a plus. SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.

Strong command of English in view of business communication.
