Our client is a Japan based global manufacturer specialize in ceramic components, electronic parts. They are now seeking and experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead their data analytics team and drive data driven decision making across their organization. The position needs to responsible for setting the vision for data analytics, managing data projects from start to finish, and ensure data quality and security
Location to work: Melaka
Job Responsibilities: -
1. Lead & Develop the Analytics Team
Manage, mentor, and guide a team of data analysts.
Foster continuous learning, professional growth, and high performance within the team.
2. Drive Data Strategy
Develop and implement data analytics strategies aligned with business goals.
Define frameworks for data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure consistency and reliability.
3. Manage Data Projects
Oversee end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
4. Enable Data-Driven Decisions
Provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support decision-making at all levels.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and priorities.
5. Maintain Data Quality & Compliance
Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security.
Uphold data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
6. Collaborate Across the Business
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data optimization and process improvements.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong skills in SQL, Python, R and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
Proven leadership in managing and developing high performing teams
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate date into actionable insights
Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of data governance, data quality management and security best practice
Able to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
