Job Description
Open Position: Data Architect (MNC IT Services Provider)An MNC IT Services Provider is seeking for Data Architect to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office.Key requirements include:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect
- Experience in areas relevant to data engineering, including data management, custom ETL design, data mining and data modeling
- Experience with data science or machine learning environments and good understanding and working knowledge of information security
- Strong Proficiency in SQL including a solid understanding of how to optimise query performance
- Advanced knowledge in a high-level programming language commonly used in ETL pipelines, such as Python or Scala.
- Experience in using BI tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Microstrategy, Cognos, etc.
- Experience with other Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, NoSQL databases)
- Familiarity with a full range of data engineering approaches, covering theoretical best practices and the technical applications of these methods
- Experience building and deploying a range of data engineering pipelines into production, including using automation best practices for CI/CD
- Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team based environment
