Company : Sime Darby Auto Bavaria Sdn. Bhd. Responsibilities . Understand the Sime Darby Motor\'s overall data estate, IT/business priorities and measures of success to design cloud-based data architectures using your deep technical knowledge. . Lead Architecture Design Sessions, Workshops, Rapid Prototypes, and Hackathons to accelerate the technical decision on our Data, AI and IoT platform . Ensure technical viability of new projects and work with the relevant markets to ensure successful deployments enabling them to realize the value of their data modernization efforts. . Propose and validate solution architecture and transfer knowledge on best practices to Data Engineers, Architects and App Dev Leads in respective markets. . Serve as a go-to technical expert in the data modernization space for the regional sales teams. . Deliver key Power BI reports and dashboards. . Facility Data Analytics Communicate of Practice for Sime Darby Motors Requirements . Position can be based in either in Malaysia or Australia . Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent . Minimal of 5 years working experience in big data, data architecture, Business Intelligence, and AI domains. . Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load (ETL) tools . Be proficient in at least a subset of the Data & AI Azure Services including varying flavors of running SQL Server in Azure, all facets of Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, etc. . Knowledge of Azure AI & ML Capabilities including Azure Machine Learning service, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, and the overall Machine Learning Life Cycle (MLOPS). . Other knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks . Knowledge of PowerBI or QlikSense . Experience developing or working with architectural concepts, strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, architectural patterns, frameworks, and principles. . Excellent communication and presentation skills . Be a self-starter who takes ownership of opportunities works independently, manages multiple simultaneous projects and deals well with ambiguity and last-minute changes . Superior presentation skills and experience engaging with senior-level executives . Proven stakeholder management skills. . Have a growth mindset to learn new skills . A commitment to drive collaboration with strong listening, communication skills, and sensitivity towards different team culture . Must have a proven record of delivering business value . Experience in Consulting firm preferable .
