Data Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data Business Analyst with strong expertise in health insurance and data lineage. This role involves defining business requirements, ensuring data traceability across systems, and supporting compliance and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to define data and reporting needs. Analyze healthcare and insurance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement. Document and maintain data lineage across multiple systems to ensure traceability and compliance. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications. Support implementation of data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, or related field. 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in health insurance or healthcare. Strong knowledge of claims processing, policy administration, and healthcare regulations. Hands-on experience with data lineage tools and practices (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation). Proficiency in SQL and Excel. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Deep knowledge of ICD coding structures is a plus. Experience in impact analysis for ICD upgrades on claims, billing, and reporting processes.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
