Key Qualifications

Experience:

5 years of engineering experience with 2+ years of experience in commissioning or project engineering within data centers, critical infrastructure, or similar mission-critical environments. Experience commissioning complex systems such as electrical power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, cooling, and backup power systems in a data center environment. Proven experience with troubleshooting, testing, and verifying the functionality of critical systems in mission-critical facilities.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire suppression. Excellent understanding of commissioning processes, testing protocols, and industry standards. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation. Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, and IEEE. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for documentation and coordination.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications in commissioning or electrical/mechanical systems (e.g., Commissioning Certification, LEED, or equivalent) are a plus.
