What you will be responsible for:
Data Center Planning & Construction
Participate in the planning, design, and layout of new data center facilities or expansions
Provide on-site supervision during renovation, construction, and system installation
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure project quality
Plan and oversee deployment of IT equipment (servers, storage, networking)
Ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire safety standards
Conduct site inspections and deliver regular project status reports
Data Center Operations & Maintenance
Perform ongoing maintenance of data center infrastructure, including:
Electrical systems
Cooling and mechanical systems
Fire suppression systems
Rack/structured cabling
IT equipment environments
Monitor data center environmental conditions and respond to alerts or irregularities
Execute preventive maintenance schedules and ensure equipment reliability
Troubleshoot issues involving power, cooling, network, servers, or facilities
Maintain documentation for configurations, layouts, maintenance logs, and SOPs
Support capacity planning and continuous improvement of the data center environment
Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure reliable service delivery
How you will stand out:

• 5-10+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
• Experience managing multi-phase data center build-outs
• Familiarity with industry standards (TIA, Uptime, ASHRAE, etc.)
• Background working with cross-regional or multinational teams
• Experience in data center planning, construction, or facilities/IT infrastructure engineering
• Strong understanding of critical data center systems (power, cooling, fire protection, cabling, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with IT equipment deployment and maintenance
• Ability to coordinate with contractors and supervise on-site work
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across physical and IT layers
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to travel for on-site work as required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes be exposed to heat, noise, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The exposure will not be constant but could occupy a large amount of a person's time during the day while on-site. Safety & Noise reduction equipment will be provided by the company. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The role allows working remotely flexibly where necessary.
