What You\'ll DoThe teams provide Pro-active and Reactive support to our Global Premium Customers. TAC expects that our engineers demonstrate a high level of customer network intimacy by working very closely with them and understand their business priorities. Cisco is seeking a Data Center TCE.The position has the following responsibilities: Solves product &network problems of high complexity. Has solid understanding in Data Center Switching and storage technologies Provides consultation to independently solve sophisticated product and network problems Effectively utilizes sophisticated lab setups to duplicate and solve problems Provides systems/product training and intellectual property material Acts as a point of contact for large account network problem resolution Submits complete and accurate defect reports in area of expertise Consults with other Teams such as TAC and Engineering teams in Cisco to assist Customers Work towards continuous learning, results orientation and teamwork Ability to motivate change through innovation. Who You Are Ability to analyze, configure and seek large networks?RequirementsMandatory Skills:

  • Hands on experience on Datacenter Networking (Nexus 3000, 9300), UCS-B System/Other issues and Storage Networking.
  • Hands on experience on SV (Server Virtualization), DCRS, DC Software, ACI and Storage.
  • Knowledge on SWITCHING Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP,VLAN Knowledge of Cisco switching Platforms like Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850, Nexus 7K, Nexus 6k, Nexus 5k, Nexus 3K
  • Experience supporting client servers (blades and rack systems)
  • Strong good experience on Server/Storage
  • experience providing high level technical support within a Server environment Knowledge of controllers, drivers and networking components Knowledge of fiber channel operation and protocols.
  • Experience installing drivers/updating drivers Expertise on UCS-B & C series, Storage, Network or Server O/S certifications Knowledge of server OS Windows, VMware, Linux
  • Experience within Ethernet and/or SAN environment
  • Certified technical specialist in more than one area with a wide understanding of Networking technologies and Cisco products (this is a variable based on our requirement)
  • In depth understanding of solving problems methodology and case management tools
Experience & Education:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a trouble shooting / customer facing environment B.E/B.Sc. in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Science CCNA, CCNP and/or CCIE (Data Center) (or equivalent certification) preferred Why Cisco At Cisco, each person brings their different talents to work as a team and make a difference.
