Data Centre Testing & Commissioning Technician (project Based)
Job Description
This is a 4-month project-based role supporting testing, commissioning, and documentation works in a data centre environment in Johor. The technician will be involved mainly in power testing, rPDU verification, labelling, and reporting activities. Candidates must possess a valid PW4 certification. Junior candidates with limited data centre experience are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
Perform testing of CEEform outlets (voltage, current, and phase)
Conduct testing of customer rPDU cables and rPDUs using socket testers, impedance, and phase checking
Support power commissioning and energisation in accordance with PTW and data centre SOP
Perform labelling at CEEform outlets and rPDUs
Prepare and submit testing and commissioning reports
Update and maintain rack power inventory logs
Work in a live data centre environment with strict safety compliance
Participate in rotational shift work as required by the project
Requirements
Valid PW4 certification (mandatory)
Diploma / Certificate in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Basic understanding of electrical testing and three-phase systems Able to follow SOP, PTW, and complete reports accurately Willing to work shifts and project-based employmentWorking Arrangement
Project duration: 4 months Work location: Johor Shift-based schedule (day/night rotation)

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
