Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

Power BI dashboards and reports

focused on automation, scalability, and user-centric visualization. Translate

complex business requirements

into efficient, data-driven reporting and analytical solutions. Integrate and manage data from

financial platforms

such as

Aladdin

and

Refinitiv

, ensuring data quality and consistency. Build and optimize

data pipelines

using

Azure Data Factory

,

Azure Databricks

, and related Azure services. Perform

data processing and transformation

using

SQL, Python, and PySpark

on large, complex datasets. Support

data ingestion into Azure Analysis Services

and manage structured data in the

Data Lake

. Ensure

data integrity, governance, and quality standards

are maintained across all data flows. Maintain detailed

technical documentation

for all data processes, pipelines, and integrations. Collaborate with business and technical teams to support analytics and reporting needs. Stay current with emerging trends in

data engineering, Azure technologies, and BI tools

to drive innovation and optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3-5+ years

of experience in data engineering, analytics, or backend data workflows. Proficient in

Azure Data Factory

,

Azure Databricks

,

Azure SQL

, and

Unity Catalog

. Strong working knowledge of

SQL, Python, and PySpark

for data manipulation and ETL development. Advanced experience with

Power BI

-- including

data modeling, DAX, and custom visuals

. Familiarity with

Azure Analysis Services

and

performance tuning

for analytical workloads. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and reliability.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Experience:

Power BI -- including data modeling, DAX, and custom visuals.: 1 year (Preferred) Azure Analysis Services, performance tuning: 1 year (Preferred) Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL: 1 year (Required) data engineering, analytics, or backend data workflows: 1 year (Preferred) SQL, Python, and PySpark: 2 years (Preferred)
