About Our Client

Our client is a prominent Malaysian conglomerate with a global presence. It specializes in providing comprehensive industrial solutions and services through 192 branches in 17 countries and territories. One of the main solutions they provide are the sale and rental of heavy equipment & machinery for various sectors such as construction, mining, agriculture, forestry, marine, and energy.

You and your team will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and delivery of innovative data-driven solutions according to business needs.

• Build the infrastructure required for ETL activities from various data sources.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Design, implement and maintain Data Virtualization Layer/Data Fabric to support business analytical objectives.
• Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide users with actionable insights.
• Establish and maintain data standards and frameworks in-line with Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Continuously document & maintain data catalogue and improve/ensure the platforms and tools are fit for purpose.

The Successful Applicant

• Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science / Statistics or relevant studies.
• Experience with data pipeline development and database management.
• Must have strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server suite (SSIS / SSRS / SSAS / SSMS) would be advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in data analysis / ETL / data engineering roles.
• Good understanding of data governance and a can-do attitude.
• Strong communications skills for requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
