Position: Data Engineer

Tenure: 1 year contract ( Renewable basis)

Working Location: Seremban

Working Hour: Standard working hours

Salary : Open for negotiation

Job Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Understand the factories , manufacturing process , data availability and avenues for improvement

\xc2\xb7 Brainstorm , together with engineering, manufacturing and quality problems that can be solved using the acquired data in the data lake platform.

\xc2\xb7 Define what data is required to create a solution and work with connectivity engineers , users to collect the data

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

\xc2\xb7 Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery for greater scalability

\xc2\xb7 Work on data preparation, data deep dive , help engineering, process and quality to understand the process/ machine behavior more closely using available data

\xc2\xb7 Deploy and monitor the solution

\xc2\xb7 Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

\xc2\xb7 Work together with Data Architects and data modeling teams across Nexperia BE sites

Job requirement

\xc2\xb7 Graduate Engineer - preferably in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or computer science

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5-10 years of experience in data engineering background

\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to work with multi cultural , multi location teams

\xc2\xb7 Experience in large IT project implementation related to Supply Chain management, factory scheduling, big data data lake architectures is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of ability to ideate, develop unique solutions using data science
