About Us

We are a fast-growing startup building AI-driven solutions to transform the manufacturing industry--starting with semiconductors. Our mission is to bring intelligent automation and deep insights to complex production environments through data, advanced analytics, and machine learning. We work closely with engineers, operators, and domain experts to solve real-world manufacturing challenges using data.

As our first Data Engineer, you will have a foundational role in building the data infrastructure and practices that will power our AI solutions.

What You'll Do

Design and implement on-premises data infrastructure to support data ingestion, storage, and processing for manufacturing environments. Select and manage on-premises technologies (databases, storage engines, message brokers, orchestration tools) suitable for secure and efficient operations. Build robust pipelines to collect, clean, and transform diverse datasets including process data, sensor data, images, and human annotations. Ensure data readiness for modeling, visualization, and insights generation. Establish data versioning, lineage, and documentation practices that support data quality and traceability. Create systems to track data quality in real-time or near-real-time. Ensure secure, maintainable, and scalable deployment of data infrastructure. Define and enforce best practices in data governance, privacy, and access control.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles, ideally with on-premise or hybrid infrastructure. Strong software development skills in Python for data pipeline development. Solid experience with ETL frameworks and streaming systems. Experience designing and maintaining SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Neo4j). Experience building and operating data lakes and data catalog. Familiarity with containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and CI/CD practices. Proven ability to work independently and lay the groundwork for scalable data systems in a startup environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with manufacturing data systems. Familiarity with AI/ML and MLOps. Prior experience working in or with regulated industries (e.g., semiconductor, automotive, aerospace).
