You will be working collaboratively with Data Engineers in Malaysia, Platform Leads in Australia and their corporate finance team to bring this project to fruition. A cross between data engineering and corporate finance project, you will bring strong functional understanding to this role.This is an initial 1-year contract with possibility to extend.You will be working closely with the corporate finance team, so you should have a strong functional understanding of finance and technical data engineering experience.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to efficiently move and transform data from source systems to the target data platform.
• Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is cleansed, standardised, and loaded accurately into the platform.
• Create and optimise database schemas and structures to support the storage and retrieval of data in the new platform.
• Implement data partitioning, indexing, and other performance optimisation techniques to enhance database efficiency.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to manage metadata, access controls, and data lineage throughout the data life cycle.

• Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science / Statistics or relevant studies.
• Experience with data pipeline development and database management.
• Must have strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server suite (SSIS / SSRS / SSAS / SSMS) would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools like Power BI would be ideal.
• Minimum 2 years experience in corporate finance related projects eg: P&L reporting, Accounts Payable, Data reconciliation & reporting, Asset Management, etc.
• Strong communications skills for requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
