Position overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Specialist to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team as a Data Management Process & Systems Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of master data across our ERP systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes, drive data quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Master Data Management

• Create and maintain master data in ERP systems in line with data governance processes.
• Coordinate with multiple teams (Credit Control, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, etc.) to ensure accurate and complete master data setup.
• Safeguard data integrity, validity, and global consistency.
• Provide user support for master data issues, following the established issue management process.
• Process & Data Improvement

• Support Process Owners, Data Owners, and Data Management Leads with process improvement and data cleansing activities.
• Assist in documenting data management policies, procedures, work instructions, and templates.
• Operational & Project Support

• Respond to queries and issues related to master data.
• Prepare and deliver master data reports and queries upon request.
• Support global initiatives and projects involving data management and data conversion.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements.
• Collaborate in cross-functional project teams.
• Contribute to training activities for internal stakeholders.

Required skills and experience

• At least one year of relevant working experience in Customer Master Data.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience is a strong plus).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to support process improvements.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
