Strategic Role: To execute research & development activities in research division based on the project assignment and role in an integrated, timely, cost effective and high-quality manner in accordance with division\'s strategic and operating objectives. Be an active member of Data Science team and contribute core skills needed to propel the team towards the age of Artificial Intelligence. Be a team player that actively contributes ideas and initiatives to team, and independently complete assignments. Support product management in creating innovative data products and solutions. Responsibilities: Be a strong contributor in the research projects and assist managers to ensure successful execution of projects. Play the role as a data scientist, from data exploration, insight discovery, to implementation of advance analytic algorithms such as machine learning and deep neural network. Deliver reporting and documentation as needed by project needs professionally. Participate in technical papers / copyright / patent publication locally as well as internationally upon approval from TMR&D Management. Explore business problems and generate insights through data source exploration, visualization, and prediction techniques Continuously seek out latest technologies within the domain and strengthen the unit\'s R&D capabilities. Requirements: 1. Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics/Applied Statistics/Computer Science/ Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications or similar qualifications with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. 2. Evidence of strong mathematical, statistical, or actuarial background 3. Experience of AI related skills such as machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling 4. Proficiency in programming and such as SQL, R, and Python 5. Proficiency in statistical modeling tools such as Matlab and SAS 6. Proficiency in big data platform such as Hadoop, Spark, ElasticSearch, Kibana 7. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, and D3 8. Demonstrate ability of fast learning and creativity in coming up with new solutions 9. Ability to communicate at all levels and simplify complex analysis into clear explanations and visualizations.
