Objectives of the position

Our newly established \xe2\x80\x9cPlant Maintenance Web Solutions\xe2\x80\x9d team will provide innovative Web- and Mobile-based solutions to the BASF Verbund Plant in Zhanjiang, China. As a Mobile Developer within this dynamic and Agile-based team, you will design, develop, test and deploy solutions, which we will continuously develop over the coming years.

To succeed in this role, you should be someone that:

• has a high degree of customer orientation, and enjoys working with colleagues and partners
• is experienced working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
• be a \xe2\x80\x9cReactive\xe2\x80\x9d thinker, and can design solutions for yourself or your team that simply works
• writes and reviews code in a clear and concise manner
• can transform business requirements into the user-friendly solutions
• possesses in-depth knowledge in software development
• has excellent command of written and spoken English, as you will be embedded in our global team and in direct contact with our internal business users

Main tasks

• Design and development of solutions for our users in the production plants
• You will be focusing on user experience, design and overall look of our mobile use cases
• Continuous functional expansion of our web-based platform, including testing and maintenance

Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Business Informatics or a comparable field; or
• A tertiary degree with corresponding professional experience

Work Experience:

• The successful candidate must have more than 5 years\' working experience
• With at least 3 years\' experience in a software engineering or similar capacity predominantly within a Web- and/or Mobile-based development area.

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory):

• \xe2\x80\x9cReactive Programming\xe2\x80\x9d with Angular 2 or higher
• Typescript
• CSS Frameworks such as PrimeFlex
• Continuous Integration & Delivery
• Test-Driven Development

Technical & Professional Knowledge (nice to have):

• NGrX and RxJS for (mobile) WebClients
• PostgreSQL
• Working experience with Azure DevOps

Others:

• You must be able to communicate with openness and clarity
• Have a structured, independent and conscientious working style
