Open Position: Data Scientist (Reputable Consumer Electronic Company)

A Reputable Consumer Electronic Company is currently hiring Data Scientist to join the fast-growing team and be based in the Selangor office. This is the perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to become a part of an innovative and energetic team that develops analysis tools which will influence both products and positively impacting thousands of consumsers in Malaysia and other countries.

Key requirements include:

-Have a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Statistics, Applied Math or any related field

-More than 3 years working experience as Data Scientist and good pattern recognition, machine learning, statistic and predictive modelling skills

-Use a combined knowledge of computer science and applications, modelling, statistics, analytics and maths to solve problems

-Directly involved in running analytical experiments in a methodical manner and regularly evaluate alternate models via theoretical approaches

-Use a combined knowledge of computer science and applications, modelling, statistics, analytics and maths to solve problems

-Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, R or etc and able to understand various data structures and standard methods in data transformation

-A team player with good communication skills
