Role and Responsibilities CAE is looking for a Data Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for transforming data into a format that can be consumed by other analytics stakeholders. You\'ll be designing, developing, maintaining and testing infrastructure for data generation. You\'ll be building end-to-end cloud-based analytics pipelines that are scalable, repeatable and secure. You\'ll also play an instrumental role enabling architecture solutions for Data Science and advanced modelling projects. What you\'ll be doing Create and maintain optimal and scalable data pipeline architecture Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources and \'big data\' technologies. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Automate dataset creation using multiple sources of data Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Codes, tests, and documents new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics Work with stakeholders including the Executive, CX and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Occasionally liaise directly with customers to gather and define the analytics requirements Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. What you\'ll bring Experience working with Azure Cloud Services Experience cleaning and analyzing large data sets with appropriate data technologies Advanced proficiency creating SQL queries, PowerBI datasets and reports Experience with Tableau or other analytic tools Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly Here are few reasons why folks love working at CAE!
