To be part of database administrator support in 24x7 manufacturing environment which database technology mainly consists of Oracle and SQL server. Integrate with environment technologies with best practices apply for database migration, consolidation and improvement projects for better productivity, minimum downtime during disaster, cost saving and performance improvement. To work and collaborate with multiple teams in support multiple system projects. Job Title: Database Administrator (Oracle & SQL Server)
Division/Department: MES / IT JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Proactive monitoring in ensure availability (database, data replication, and backup) and well performance. Develop monitoring and auto-correct tool where necessary. 2. Support and maintain Oracle and MS SQL Server databases activities for in house systems (MES Production/Reporting/Retention Oracle DB servers, ERP/Axapta/CEMS/MES Web Pro/Reporting/Factory Integration MS SQL Servers). 3. Data retention management in perform purging and restore archived data. 4. Perform database improvement projects for better productivity, minimum downtime during disaster, cost saving and improve performance. 5. Regular 8x5 support but required to be on standby for 7x24 support. Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities. JOB REQUIREMENTS Working Experience: 1. Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in database administration under multiple operating system platform (UNIX, Linux, Windows); 2. Good understanding in database architecture, able to integrate with infrastructure (server, storage, network) in configuration setup, administration database high availability with optimum performance for various MS SQL Server Database versions (2000 - 2019), and Oracle Database versions (Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, 19c). 3. Backup and Recovery 4. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and able to integrate difference technologies to come out solution with documentation 5.
