As a Database Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable database solutions. Your responsibilities will include: -

• Developing and maintaining database solutions using PL/SQL and Python.
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing database structures, schemes, tables, and views.
• Creating stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to enhance database performance and functionality.
• Collaborating with software developers to integrate the database layer with the application logic.
• Performing data analysis and developing data models to support business requirements.
• Optimizing database queries, indexes, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conducting database testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance issues and data integrity problems.
• Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Documenting database design, development processes, and system specifications.

Requirements:

• Basic diploma in IT or programming
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming using PL/SQL and Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database is essential.
• Familiarity with other databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle is a plus.
• Solid understanding or relational database concepts and database design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Knowledge of data modelling and database optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.

Direct 1 year contract and highly convertible based on individual performance.
