Position Summary: We are looking for a Software Engineer to take an active role in the development, testing and support of the Diagnostics, Calibration and Verification Software. With LTX-Credence you will be developing in Linux based C++. You will be working closely with Software driver and Hardware engineers to develop and integrate diagnostics to diagnose the ATE machine and will follow the Agile development methodology. You will carry test program development through all phases of the software lifecycle. You will work with key architects and participate in defining the long term strategy for the DCV, the tools that are used to debug failures, and methods for testing efficiently. Key responsibilities

• Work Closely with HW engineers to define and implement Diagnostics SW programs (written in C++) to test the HW.
• Debug and fix calibration and diagnostics programs that fail on HW or in SIM.
• Write python scripts to use as a tool to diagnose HW
• Work with SW engineers to identify process issues and come up with solutions.
• Write bug reports and investigate root cause of SW bugs.
• Work with a senior SW engineers and follow the software development process.
• Analyzing data and generate mean and cpk data.

Requirements and Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, or EE with software experience
• Classes or experience in microprocessor control or HW programming or HW drivers
• Classes or experience in Object Oriented / C++ programming. Some Python knowledge.
• Classes or experience in truth table and basic logic gates (ie: AND, OR, NAND, and NOT), or analog circuits.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Fast Learner
• Ability to work with other functional teams
