We are currently recruiting a Delivery Manager to join our Global Delivery Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
As a key growth engine for Tribal Group and the Professional Services (PS) Team, the Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Kuala Lumpur, aims to offer a highly experienced delivery team to execute a wide range of projects for our clients, efficiently, whilst ensuring quality, consistency, and delivery excellence in project execution. Within our portfolio, which spans: Enterprise Technology, Digital Solutions, Cloud Services, Managed Services, Delivery Management & Technology Transformation, we offer a set of core services across the Tribal Product suite, that allow Tribal to meet our current and future client\xe2\x80\x99s needs. We have a team of passionate and energized, full-time resources that works dynamically with our global Professional Services team to drive business outcomes.
The role of the Delivery Manager, Global Delivery Centre in Tribal is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of multiple projects and programs within the GDC. The role involves working closely with the GDC consultants, clients, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of the services and solutions from GDC in a project, accountable for planning, delivery and oversight across all phases of projects. The Delivery Manager will also be responsible for managing risks and issues, as well as ensuring compliance with project management processes and standards.
Your core responsibilities will include: To validate effort estimates for the scope to be delivered by the GDC and ensure alignment with the overall project timeline and constraints. Align with the resourcing manager to ensure resources for the project are done correctly and scheduling is done in an optimised manner.
Managing timelines and ensuring on-time delivery: The Delivery Manager is responsible for creating and managing timelines of the delivery component from the GDC and ensuring that deliverables are completed on time as per the overall project timeline. This includes identifying potential roadblocks and developing mitigation plans to ensure timely completion.
Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders: The Delivery Manager is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders. This includes communicating regularly with clients and project stakeholders: i.e. Project Manager and Solution Leads, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise, and ensuring that project objectives are met.
Coordinating with relevant teams outside of GDC, to ensure successful delivery: The Delivery Manager is responsible for coordinating with other teams, such as Project Team and Customer Team, to ensure that services and solutions provided by GDC align with project goals and objectives, and that the delivery team has the support it needs to complete the project.
Implementing quality assurance processes: The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that the delivery from GDC meets or exceeds quality standards. This includes implementing quality assurance processes, such as reviews on deliverables and deliverables review and ensuring that the set templates and standards are adhered to.
Managing Project Support Services: The delivery manager is responsible to manage and post deployment/ post go-live support services assigned to GDC. This overseeing and coordinating the support team from GDC as well as internal and client teams, setting performance goals, and ensuring efficient management of incidents following support processes with adherence to service level targets.
Providing leadership and guidance to delivery team members: The delivery manager is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to delivery team members. This includes setting clear expectations, providing feedback and coaching, and creating a positive work environment.
Additionally, applicants will ideally have the following experience:
Background in consulting preferably from Big 4 or similar organisations, involved in technology consulting and implementation. Extensive experience in project managing large software implementations at a regional scale and support services. Strong understanding of the systems support, managed services, and project management. Possesses certifications relevant to the role i.e. (PMP, PRINCE2, PSMI, PSMII, ITIL v4 etc.) Significant experience in managing projects and developing appropriate project management artefacts.
You must have strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and communication skills as well the ability to work in fast-paced environment driven by demanding deadlines and client requirements. If you have knowledge and understanding of Student/Education Management Systems are desirable but not essential.
