Demand Planning Assistant

Job Description
The Demand Planning Assistant supports the demand planning team in forecasting product demand and coordinating with support teams to ensure optimal inventory levels. This role is crucial in maintaining supply chain efficiency and meeting customer demand in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Convert approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO) in the system. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with end user of support teams to ensure stock availability. Coordinate with end users (e.g., Human Resources, R&D, QA) to clarify item specifications, delivery timelines, and usage requirements. Follow up with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies. Monitor PO status and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. Maintain accurate records of PRs, POs, and supplier communications. Support the demand planner in preparing reports and data analysis related to material planning. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and food safety standards (e.g., Halal, HACCP, GMP).

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

planning in a food manufacturing environment: 2 years (Preferred)
