Job Purpose

To support accurate and agile demand and supply planning across multiple brands, products, and sourcing units, ensuring optimal inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and operational continuity across 170 outlets in West and East Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the demand and supply planning process for four brand portfolios, covering ingredients, packaging, RTE/RTD products, hygiene chemicals, utensils, and appliances. Develop and implement structured forecasting processes using historical sales trends, promotional insights, and demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy and stock readiness. Perform regular sales and inventory analysis to identify variances, trends, and opportunities, supporting proactive decision-making and timely adjustments. Plan and manage Limited Time Offer (LTO) campaigns by forecasting demand, aligning with marketing timelines, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Coordinate closely with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability for both regular and campaign-related items. Maintain and update the SKU master list, including setup of new item codes, UOM conversions, product categorization, and margin configurations. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during system transitions (e.g. Xilnex to Zeoniq), identifying and reporting planning-related system gaps. Establish stock replenishment guidelines based on different sourcing units and inventory categories (e.g., safety stock, buffer stock, cycle stock). Monitor stock holding principles and optimize stock levels based on forecast types (Make-to-Forecast SKUs) across weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning cycles. Prepare and present monthly forecast reports and data-driven recommendations to management for alignment with business strategies.

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in demand and supply planning. Familiar with inventory management systems and planning software (experience with Xilnex or Zeoniq is a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools. Able to work independently, multitask under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Willing to travel as required.
