About the role

As a Demand Planning Manager for Malaysia at Reckitt, your expertise will drive our production, purchasing, and provide invaluable insights into our supply dynamics. In this strategic role, you are the maestro of data, understanding and interpreting market trends to predict demand with precision. Your responsibilities

  • Manage the overall demand planning and S&OP requirements for assigned Business Unit including input to Plan and Forecast preparation. Responsible for Forecast Accuracy.
  • Lead the BU S&OP process, ensure regular scheduled meetings occur and ensure quality data on past performance and future forecast is available for S&OP review.
  • Deliver the area defined inventory target.
  • Proposing of changes to stock parameters considering MOQ and safety stock for Area approval.
  • Inventory management, including management of obsolescence.
  • Manage promotional inventory requirements and seasonal changes to inventory holdings.
  • Plan replenishment of product to maintain supply service levels, regular reporting of all business related and customer related KPI\'s.
  • Establish strong working relationships with marketing, sales, other key stakeholders in order to achieve the best service level.
  • Planning of Supply Finished Goods Purchased to suppliers/intercompany and definition of an appropriate inventory strategy to achieve the desired service level.
  • Responsible for people management in the areas such as performance management, development plan and capabilities up-skilling.
The experience we\'re looking for
  • Degree in finance, supply, statistical science or Operations or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply / demand planning and determine priorities in a highly pressured working environment.
  • Strong experience in driving S&OP process.
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics or sales will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in SAP APO SNP and MS Office and Excel.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills with attention to details.
  • Results-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Has good interpersonal skills and strong command of both written and spoken English.
