  • Adapts to any specific requests made by guests
Professional techniques / Production
  • To prepare in detail all food production for hotel\'s requirement and ensure a total smooth running of the operation as
instructed by CDP
  • Help CDP to prepare his/her production in line with level of activity and revised forecasts
  • Ensures the smooth running of food preparation during the shift
  • Ensures effective coordination between section in all kitchen and the different F&B points of sale
Directly involved for the implementation of any menu for" a la carte" and buffet items with the guidance of CDP
  • Creates and presents the dishes in line with cooking instructions and supervisor\'s instructions
Helps receive delivers and tidies food items according to storage guidelines
  • Responsible to maintain the highest standard of dishes prepared as per establish standards
Management and administration
  • Manages stocks of foodstuffs with support of CDP
  • Ensures that the equipment and appliances under his/her responsibility are used correctly and kept in good condition
  • Inform CP for any defect related to engineering on daily basis
  • Monitor food & beverage activities related issue and counter check with CDP
  • Follow work schedules and report any shortcomings to CDP
  • Report to CP any item out of stock for immediate action
  • Report discrepancy in cleaning check list to CDP
  • Be cost conscious on a day to day minimizing wastage
  • Follow strictly recipes and standards in place for all food served
  • Attend all training insuring 100% attendance
  • Ensures the respect and due application of the rules of hygiene and security in the department, particularly
HACCP standards
  • Ensures that food items are stored in compliance with current food hygiene standards: pantry storage, fish,
meat etc.
  • Checks that employees\' uniforms are clean and in good condition
  • Ensures that safety instructions are respected for the use of kitchen equipment
  • Ensures that hygiene checks are carried out by an external laboratory in order to assess the results of his/her
actions, and implements any corrective actions as necessary
  • Respects the hotel\'s commitments to the "Environment Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc)
Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM2,700.00 per month Benefits:
