Job Summary

:

A Dental Nurse provides support to the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and the treatment process runs smoothly. They assist with clinical tasks, maintain a sterile environment, manage equipment, and handle patient care.

Key Responsibilities

:

Prepare and organize the treatment room before and after procedures, ensuring that all instruments and materials are ready for use. Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, extractions, cleanings, and root canals by passing instruments, suctioning, and keeping the patient comfortable. Monitor patients during treatments, offering reassurance and providing guidance when necessary. Ensure all dental instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and safely stored. Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination, ensuring the office remains hygienic. Dispose of waste materials and clean up the treatment area after procedures. Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and answering questions to alleviate any concerns. Ensure that dental equipment is in good working order, arranging for repairs or maintenance as necessary. Manage inventory of dental supplies and order materials when required to avoid shortages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, such as brushing, flossing, and using fluoride treatments. Collaborate with the dentist, dental hygienists, and other team members to ensure patient care is consistent and efficient. Assist with managing the clinic's workflow, helping the team stay organized and on schedule.

Pay:

RM1,800.00- RM2,100.00 per month (based on experience)
