Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and uphold hygiene and infection control standards.
Educate and reassure patients before, during, and after treatments to ensure comfort and understanding.
Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate documentation.
Provide chairside assistance, including passing instruments and supporting suctioning.
Prepare dental materials such as impressions, cements, and fillings.
Advise patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices.
Monitor and replenish dental supplies to ensure continuous clinic operations.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Dental Nursing, Dental Assisting, or a related field.
Prior experience in a dental clinic is preferred.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
Strong patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
Familiarity with dental software and appointment scheduling systems is a plus.
Professional, team-oriented, and detail-focused work ethic.
