Position Overview:

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of providing excellent support to our dentists and patients. You will play an integral role in ensuring smooth operations in the clinic while helping create a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment.

Prepare and maintain the treatment area for patients, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.

Record and update patient medical histories, treatment plans, and other relevant information in the system.

Sterilize dental instruments and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed.

Help manage patient flow and ensure all appointments are organized and scheduled efficiently.

Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and answer any questions they may have.

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Assist with office administrative duties as required (e.g., scheduling, patient communication, etc.).

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous dental assisting experience is a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment is a plus.

Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills.
