Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Surgery Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the dentist during surgeries, assist in patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental surgery room. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.

- Prepare and organize surgical instruments, materials, and equipment prior to procedures.

- Sterilize instruments and disinfect the surgery area to maintain hygiene standards.

- Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients, including giving instructions for recovery.

- Ensure patient comfort and manage patient anxiety before and during surgery.

- Record patient medical history, take notes during surgeries, and manage patient charts.

- Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed.

- Assist with dental impressions, casts, and other required tasks during surgical procedures.

- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

- Assist in administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification in Dental Assisting*(required).

- Can use and good at Microsoftware(Excel n Words)

- Prior experience in dental or surgical assistance (preferred).

- Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong interpersonal skills to handle patient interactions and work effectively within a team.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate instruments.

- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed.

Expected start employment December 2025/January 2026.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
