Reporting to Deputy General Manager - Operations



Brief Summary



To manage end to end operations of the VAC while ensuring quality and cost saving, ensure compliance to the set processes and manage people to bring the best efficiency out of them.

Areas of Responsibility



1. Manage all day-to-day activities (Administrative and functional) conduct at the Visa Application Center which involves:

Document scrutiny and verification for visa processing. Handling cash and bank related transaction if assigned Maintain and record all application data in a timely and accurate manner Ensuring all administration and logistic of passport delivery to consulate/application/logistics company.
2. Conduct regular Audits for all processes and implement all new process rollouts or changes

3. Identify incorrect or incomplete information by regular quality checks thereby ensuring accuracy of the visa application

4. Ensure regular Error Monitoring - To monitor track and reduce the number of errors every month, within acceptable limits.

5. Maintain and improve level of customer and mission satisfaction by enhancing procedures and continuously innovating methods to increase productivity and cost effectiveness. Ensure that the Teams are alighted and contribute towards achievement of parameters enlisted in the Team Objective Tracker.

6. Maintain adherence to the Service Level Agreement's for all processes and ensue adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, manuals etc without any deviation. Ensure that the Teams are mentored and work towards adherence of all SOP's/processes, required to be complied with, from an Organisational and IOS perspective.

7. Ensure compliance with VFS Global defined principles, policies and procedure as applicable to the role.

8. Maintain high standards of ethics, integrity and compliance with corporate procedures.

9. Ensure that the entire process is completed within the mandated Turn Around Time.

Qualification & Experience



Education:

Minimum Graduate/ Post-graduate. Additional: certified courses in risk management/ audit.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in Travel and Tourism or Service industry. Those with visa facilitation operations (added advantage of being associated with service excellence/ quality function in VFS or previous organisation)

Other Information



Work Day: Monday to Friday.

Working Hours: 08:00 AM to 5:00PM
