The candidate would be expected to oversight and manage the process of regional reporting for the Finance division, including preparation of monthly regional packs, quarterly consolidation packs and other regional requests as mandated by the regional office.

The incumbent would also ideally have exposure to IFRS 17, insurance or Takaful technical accounting and is fluent in understanding and applying financial reporting standards to the respective regional reporting process. There will be various interactions with parties external to the Company, including internal and external auditors, Bank Negara officials and Regional Office representatives. The incumbent is also expected to have good communication skills, strong networking ability to positively influence counterparties and possess the character to provide deliverables within stipulated timelines.

1. Support the Senior Manager/Manager of Financial Reporting by producing various regional reporting requirements for the regional office.

2. Assist in design and comply with management controls for the regional reporting process.
3. Assist in financial projection of the Company
4. Ensures compliance with local and international accounting standards, statutory regulations, and any other financial related requirements.
5. Provides support to the Senior Manager/Manager of Financial Reporting by supervising the financial reporting process.
6. Provide risk management support to the Senior Manager/Manager of Financial Reporting.
7. Perform daily pricing review.
8. Other ad-hoc activities deemed necessary to support Finance functions.
