• Master Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Ability to use some of the following: AutoCAD, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketchup, Enscape, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to write and communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.
• Ability to assist with the management of junior assistant architects on the team
• Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and good presentation skills
• Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Excellent organisational and good time management skills
• Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and team player.
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, life-long learning

Tanggungjawab

• Primarily responsible for soliciting and clarify customer requirements on project brief, conduct feasibility studies, translate project brief to design proposal (comprises schematic design, prelim time & cost estimate).
• Manage project budget and schedule as well as preparation of tender documents (including finalization of detailed drawings, sufficient for preparation of bill of quantities).
• Prepare, and develop where required, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
• Performing periodical site inspection to ensure IT is according to building contract and work programme (submit by contractor) and providing/issue site instruction for progress of works.
• Accepting completed works on behalf of client and issuance all necessary certificates (Certificate of Practical Completion, Certificate of Making Good Defects, Certificate of Completion & Compliance & etc).
• Assist where required in the co-ordination of the internal design team
• Liaise, where appropriate, with members of the external design team and other associated organisations or companies
• Compliance with company procedures and standards on design, quality assurance and pricing.
