With deep technical knowledge and large experience in a specific Application domain:
Understand needs & technical requirements, system/solution architectures, best practices and standards.
Develop and/or support both conceptual application designs and detailed application designs/engineering studies.
Provides technical design, knowledge and knowhow for customers in a specific application domain. Applies standards, procedures and best practices in autonomy. May report on potential commercial risk or opportunities and / or on customer technical needs. May provide technical instructions/assistance to DAT3.
From 3 to 5 years relevant experience - Engineering Sales is focused on providing technical advice and support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer specific pricing including: oPreparing and conducting technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives oResearching customer technical specifications and estimating the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the product or solution oEvaluating sales proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organization's quality standards oMay resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and conduct initial user training
Level: An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: o Work is closely supervised. o Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. o Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
