Design Engineer
Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling product designing and for new product RFQ.
Conduct reviewing on customer's part design and to propose for DFM
Keep Bill of Material (BOM) updated into ERP system
Manage new product and tooling design activities to ensure proper new start-up compliance accordingly to customer's requirement
Analyze root cause of tooling issues, define the issue and perform troubleshooting & tooling improvement
Work closely with team members from Engineering, Production, Quality and Supply Chain
Handle project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, schedule changes and recommending actions
Liaise with customer on technical issues during NPI
Ad hoc task assigned by superior
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial or equivalent
Skills in AutoCAD, designing, SolidWork/ProE
Experienced handling NPI projects
Able to interpret part and tooling drawings
