A leading global precision engineering company, specializing in tooling and manufacturing solutions for various industries. They are seeking a Design Engineer (Tooling) to develop, design, and improve tooling systems used in production.Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Work with production teams to ensure tooling designs meet operational requirements.
- Optimize existing tooling designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in tooling design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Relevant titles: Tooling Designer, Jig & Fixture Engineer, CAD Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer.
- Key skills: Tooling design, CAD proficiency, process optimization, cost-saving initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.
