A multinational equipment design and development company is recruiting for a Design Engineer job to work on creating engineering designs and drawings of equipment related parts. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.

About the Design Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for creating engineering designs and drawings of equipment related parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design calculations for new or modified products
• Execute project effectively as planned, communicate project status, manage/update product design documentation such as drawings and design checklist
• Provide technical support and guidance on the related process
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or engineering related problems based on feedback from internal customers as well as provide support at end customer site when required
• Communicate technical reports to internal and end customers regarding design related issues and countermeasures
• Develop product design, technical drawing that compliance with the international standard

To succeed in this Design Engineer role, you must have prior experience designing system within the pressure vessel industry.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical engineering or related field
• Four years of working experience in pressure vessels or related industry
• Familiar with international standards : ASME, AD-Merkblatt 2000, AS1210, PD5500, etc.
• Good knowledge in geometrical dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T), understanding engineering materials, manufacturing processes, mechanical parts and able to assemble small objects as well as components
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical skills, innovative mindset and possess good teamwork
