Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Design & Concept Development

Develop creative concepts, visual themes, and booth designs based on client briefs and brand guidelines. Translate marketing or event concepts into 2D and 3D design presentations. Prepare layout plans, renderings, mood boards, and material selections. Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and feasible for on-site construction.

Exhibition & Event Layout Planning

Create detailed floor plans and spatial arrangements for exhibitions and events. Consider visitor flow, visibility, product placement, and lighting in booth or event space designs. Work closely with production teams to ensure design accuracy in fabrication.

Client & Team Collaboration

Attend client meetings to understand requirements, objectives, and budget constraints. Present design concepts and make adjustments based on client feedback. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, printers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.

Technical Design & Documentation

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction details for fabrication. Work closely with the production team to ensure build accuracy and design quality.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in event, exhibition, or interior design preferred (fresh graduates considered).

Technical Skills

Proficient in design software such as

AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.

Knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and construction drawings. Basic understanding of lighting, signage, and audio-visual elements.

Personal Attributes

Creative, detail-oriented, and able to translate ideas into impactful visual concepts. Strong time management and ability to work under tight deadlines. Good communication skills and teamwork mindset. Willing to work flexible hours and travel for event setup when necessary.
