Designer, Analyst

The Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining and updating web pages and other graphic assets. This is an integral role on the Digital Marketing team, whose purpose is to build brand awareness, generate leads, and support the Marketing team and company. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with an excellent eye for design and functionality. We are looking for someone who excels at building websites that are easy to understand, navigate, and use, as well as passionate about helping people.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Creative team, Project Management and Client Servicing Department, supporting them in the execution and implementation of design adaptations

Have an eye for layout, typography, and demonstrate clear understanding of brand communication

Conceptualizing visuals based on brief and ensure artworks are on-brand

Compose artwork according to requirements and deliver quality finished artwork

Use of Adobe Creative Suite software (such as Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) to deliver finished art across various channels

Responsible for print production, typesetting, basic/simple retouching/etching out, file preparation and dispatch

Quality control (QC) and ensure artwork adheres to specifications before output

Ensure deadlines are achieved on-time in accordance to production schedule or deadlines assigned

Communicate with all stakeholders articulately, sharing any issues to ensure consistency

Contribute to conceptual ideas when required

Work with copywriters and art directors to produce final design

Qualifications

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor in Arts / Design / Creative Multimedia or other relevant major

At least 1-3 year of working experience in design, media or advertising

Well versed in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

Prioritization of different workloads, keen eye for design, attention to detail, resilience and ability to work under pressure

Strong attention to detail and ability to work fast, work to deadlines and manage time effectively

Proactive in keeping skills up-to-date and drive self-improvement

Passionate about design and willingness to update job knowledge and learn on the job

Ability to take layouts from finished art to pre-press and digital ready states

Selecting and checking of formatting and colours for pre-press and digital output

Print management and colour correction for final creative use

Understand colour management and apply file adjustments
